As those lines came I finally felt everything I had wanted to say was finally said and I felt better.
“I love you with every fiber of my body,” I said through a sob and he held me in his arms and let me stain his scrubs with my tears.
“I’ve known you have believed me Bella,” He said on the verge of tears and I gave him a slight smile.
Did you know I take the time for you
Did you know that I would see you through
Did you know that I would play the part
I know I made it clear right from the start
As the song ended I gave him a kiss and he kept his arms wrapped around me nineteen years of marriage that were absolutely perfect up until last year during June but it was a test to see how strong our love was and it had yet to crack. I was so thankful he’d never understand how much of a rock he was for me.
“Isabella will you do the honor of remarrying me?” He asked already getting down on one knee like he had done so many years ago.
“That is one hundred percent yes,” I replied and he stood up and gave me a kiss once again.
We headed upstairs and fell into the bed just enjoying each other’s company,
“I never thought I would have been so blessed in my life,” Edward said playing with my hair.
“Neither did I,” I replied tracing patterns over his shirt.
I felt my eyelids close and I was positive Edward had to because we hadn’t moved an inch, sitting on the bed was a small package, and I sat up and looked at it.
It was wrapped in a simple grey box and had Edward and mine’s name on the tag, I opened the box to find a simple keychain that held a large C on the end, 03-21-11 the renewal of a couple’s love.
“You like it,” Renesmee asked and I was startled.
“Sorry,” She whispered before sitting on our bed.
“I like it, please don’t tell me you’ve done anything,” I asked worried.
“No I just have about a hundred of these ready to go out when you do renewal your vows,” She said and I shook my head.
“How long have you two been together including before marriage,” She asked pulling her knees up to her chin.
“Twenty one years, it was the start of our second semester in 1987 and your daddy was practicing basketball in the gym..” I started happy to know my daughter found this somewhat interesting.
I was awoken again by Sam barking like a crazed animal, he never barked unless something was wrong and this time he was going mad, I pulled my robe on and grabbed the spotlight we had for yard rolling season, I opened up the front door and shined the light,
Sam ran out and continued barking, he looked at me and I followed.
As I turned the corner I saw what he was barking at and I panicked, not knowing what to do I ran for Edward.
